Did you say "Mead"??

This stuff may contain as much as 18% alcohol but it goes down like fruit juice.

What you see below is a bunch of honey, water and yeast. The yeast eats away at the honey and turns some of that delicious sugar into alcohol. On the far left you have good old-fashioned honey and water; on the right sits our flavored Mead. The banana, oak spirals, vanilla bean, green tea leaves etc. hang out during the fermentation process to help infuse itself into the beverage.

After fermentation, the sweet liquid will be filtered and bottled. Sometimes in the bottle, the yeast will continue to munch on the honey and we will end up with a naturally carbonated alcoholic beverage. Sweet, chilled and bubbly...mhmm.
